Final conference in Nagykanizsa

In the final confererence the intellectual outputs of the Erasmus+: back to Nature project were introduced as well as the roles of primary schools, universities and non-governmental organizations in environmental education.

The basic intellectual output of the project is the review analysis, which was intended to survey the participating students’ and teachers’ knowledge about the basics of environmental education and the role of the school subject in it. The findings of the analysis formed the base of the teaching material, which was realized in the form of a handbook containing three parts: a theoretical and a methodological part and a section with lesson plans.

After introducing the intellectual outputs the roles of primary schools, universities and non-governmental organizations in environmental education were presented by the representatives of Scoala Gimnaziala “Szentivani Mihaly”, Galesti, Romania, the Soós Ernő Watertecnological Research and Development Centre and the Kaán Károly Environmental Association, who transfered their good practices regarding environmental education.
